WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM... FOR WHAT?!?

The World Economic Forum was established in 1971 as a not-for-profit foundation and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It is independent, impartial and not tied to any special interests [1]. Every January it has a meeting with politician leaders, bussines leaders, religious leaders, heads of state, etc. 

The Forum investigate issues of importance about economic, and concern to every country in the World, like competitiveness, global risks , gender gap, risks, economic damage are discussed, among other topics are published.

One of this investigation is The Global Competitiveness Report, we are going to see the 2015-2016... It define the competitiveness like the set of institutions, policy, factors that determine the productivity level in a economy, that at the same time stablishs the level of prospetity of a country. 

In this report they analize 12 pillars of competitiveness which are:

2.- Infraestructure

3.- Macroeconomic enviroment

4.- Health and primary education

5.- Higher education and training

6.- Goods market efficiency

7.- Labor market efficiency

8.- Financial market development

9.- Technological readiness

At the most problematic factors for doing business:

1.- Inflaction

2.- Foreing currency regulations

Some people don´t agree with the activities of this Forum, they think that it is only for the "big cats"... we are going to see what happens with this Forum and this Report in the netx blog.
