Now I will talk about my book, MT1 Test math skills.

In Mexico various tests are applied on a large scale, without all redundant, these measuring instruments assess the knowledge and skills that young people have acquired through formal or informal learning processes. However most of the tests are expensive.

MT1 is an alternative test for teenage students, which measures math skills. It can be applied at any stage of the school year. It is a quantitative and qualitative test.

MT1 130 freshmen applied to junior year, first semester of high school, sophomore and freshman telesecundaria college career in the 2008-2009 school year.

MT1 formula was validated by Kuder-Richardson 20, proving to be a reliable test. No significant differences between the groups to which they were applied test. The highest score I got a woman in the third semester of high school. The lowest result obtained as a man and a woman, both of sophomore year.

Turn a qualitative test is applied to probe their perception of mathematics, which is unchanged resulting in the different educational levels.

I read you, until next monday.

Women in Science. Biographies and Perspectives.

First of all an apology for not writing last Monday, have been complicated by a number of academics.

This time I want to share a book that I posted recently, I mean, last December. Below I describe a little about the content.

Because of the low enrollment of women in scientific careers, the anti-pregnancy of the students in these professions policies, and the limited follow all that entails this issue, I conducted two surveys, so this book includes two perspectives on women in science.

The first refers to the perspective that students have towards women in science, in the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, same that was collected through a survey.

The second deals with the review of mathematics women in Mexico about the work of women in science, information was also collected through an internet survey to women mathematicians.

Finely, this book policies of the National Council of Science and Technology are analyzed and the challenges of representing the role of women in science are listed.

This book you can get on amazon, or you can email me.

By next Monday, I'll talk about another book that I published almost a year ago, on a test of math skills.

I read you. Until next monday.
