MARCH 8TH, YOU AND ME CAN!

And here we are, another year talking about the women, more than that her roll in the society, the walk to transite, the many challenges that we need to pass, even thought many men say that we live in a new era and the women can do what ever they want to, the reality is that not.

Women always in the kitchen

More than 130 millions of people they have suffered genital mutilation, 31 million girls of primary school age still out of school, 24.9 millions of women are victims of trafficking, in México one of each 3 women are victims of psicological abuse. We can talking about amounts of women victims of something, but, here, I want to speak you, another girl like me.

I want to start with education, days ago one friend of mine told me that she doesn´t want to learn more, because is boring. I want to tell you that education is a very poweful weapon, no for nothing UNESCO talks about all the repercussions in many areas that have the EDUCATION in girl´s life. Here a link. No matter if you finish to study your carreer, or you don´t, no matter your age, your civil or social status, you can continue to study, maybe not another carreer, or finish school, but, you can continue studying maybe cooking, fashion design, to be a saleswoman, how to be a professional runner, a better book reader, specialize in a specific subject, what do I know, there are infinite possibilities! The point is to continue improving your skills.

Some women do not want to study more to not be "smarter" than them, it is true that not all men like this type of women, but you can have an intelligent partner like you and be able to have more enjoyable and deep talks, among others things of course.

Now, wherever you are, wherever you do, do your best, be a lider! Don´t settle to be good, in this world (of man, as many says) we need more women that are leaders, of power, of decision, we need you, so please wake up! This world will change in the measure you and me change.

Unfortunately many women are only there to do their job well and think about having a boyfriend, or taking care of their husband or children, it is true that it is important, but it is not everything. You can do more than that, you can dare to do new things, to travel, to know, to learn and to make new and incredible friends, to reinvent yourself, it's worth it.

Matemáticas y el buen fin en Michoacán

En el blog anterior hablábamos sobre la importancia del estudio de las matemáticas en la educación y de que no tenemos las herramientas suficientes para poder tener un estudio de calidad sobre este tema.

En "El buen fin" de este 2018, denominado así para la época del año en la que las tiendas "brindan descuentos especiales", por azares del destino tuve que acudir a varias tiendas, me sorprendió ver la cantidad de gente comprando, cosas que realmente no tenían absolutamente ningún descuento, se arrebataban las cosas como si lo tuvieran, y por qué? por el pago con tarjeta de crédito, a meses sin intereses, por el empieza a pagar en marzo del 2019, etc.

De una tienda en particular, eran tan largas las filas que llegaban a la mitad de su longitud, y de verdad parecía que regalaban cosas!!

Yo no podía entender, cómo es que esto sucedía si no había descuento, ok, sí, es por la tarjeta de crédito, pero a lo que voy, AL PAÍS NO LE CONVIENE QUE SEPAS DE MATEMÁTICAS!, porque si lo supieras, no estarías comprando y pagando como tal!, no le conviene al gobierno, ni a las empresas, a los bancos menos!.

Desconocerás entonces un adecuado manejo de tus finanzas, desconocerás porcentaje de intereses si no eres un cliente totalitario, desconocerás mil cosas, porque ENTRE MÁS IGNORES LAS MATEMÁTICAS, MÁS RICOS SE HACEN!

Educación Matemática en el Estado de Michoacán

Las matemáticas son una parte esencial en la educación de cualquier persona en el mundo, pero es uno de los "cocos" de casi cualquiera, "no me gustan", "son aburridas", "es que no les entiendo", "y eso para qué me va a servir a mí"?... en fin, tenemos un sin fin de lemas que hemos escuchado sobre ellas.

Las encontramos en casi todo, no podemos vivir sin ellas, desde el aspecto financiero, en la ropa, en el tiempo, en la cocina, en la oficina, osea en todo prácticamente estamos rodeados de ellas.

Los gobiernos de los países de primer mundo han prestado atención a su educación, han creado medidas de evaluación, para conocer su progreso, por ejemplo en Europa cuentan con dos pruebas, PISA y TIMSS, cuentan con institutos que llevan todos estos análisis, y en algunos países hacen modificaciones cada dos años de su currícula, para ir ajustando los contenidos que se enseñan y vayan orientados a la realidad y a la vida cotidiana del estudiante, por supuesto también darle las herramientas necesarias para sus estudios universitarios.

Aterrizando en Michoacán, resulta que no se ha podido evaluar conforme a PISA, por diversas situaciones, así que en base a ello nos han colocado en último lugar nacional en México. No contamos por lo tanto con instrumentos serios que nos evalúen, pero por supuesto, México ha quedado en los últimos lugares de la OCDE.

Por supuesto que tampoco tenemos modificaciones curriculares acorde a las necesidades de la propia vida cotidiana, nada más basta observar que no hay educación financiera (tal vez por eso tanto endeudado), pero independientemente de ello, tampoco contamos con investigaciones serias que estén modificando la forma de enseñar las matemáticas, y cambiar esta "falsa cultura" que hemos creado entorno a ellas.

Nos falta y nos falta muchos años...

Morelia with gym and drainage at the same time

Since we have been talking about Morelia, I have to comment that here in the city there is an open drainage, the black waters are discharged on a river that crosses part of the city.

In addition to that of course it is a very high contamination focus, the situation is that on a slope of the river they put a gym, so that people go there to run and do physical activity ... impressive but true.

Worst of all, is that people attend the gym, that also hints at the great need for places to exercise, but of course, I think people do not have the slightest idea that it hurts to attend these types of places.

And still not ending, the government "spent" millions of pesos in putting these places for people to the slope of the drainage ... it's as if it were not enough.

What kind of policy is used for these cases in the place where you live?

Morelia with holes

Morelia has gone through several changes lately, there was a change of municipal president, but it has also rained too much ...

Both things have caused the streets of Morelia to break down, wherever you go there are holes, huge ones, which make slow circulation, cause vehicles to be damaged, of course the city looks ugly ...

I do not know if it is the type of pavement that they put in these moments with the force of rain and little maintenance has made the streets are terrible to travel, or that our taxes do not use as they should or of course both, the situation is the impotence that gives see the streets full of holes, some people have filled them with sand, gravel, with cement, before the lack of attention of the town hall ...

The situation is that the city is neglected right now, until when? I do not know...

This is no longer with a composure, it remains to lift everything and put better pavement ...

México, rumbo a las elecciones en el 2018 parte 1

México está por tener elecciones próximamente, todo mundo está viendo por quién votar, y quién conviene más de acuerdo a su lupa... antes de ver esto quiero preguntarte si conoces bien a tu México?? 

Si sabes cuántos habitantes somos?, si sabes cuánto gana en promedio un mexicano, si somos más hombres que mujeres, en qué nos empleamos? ... osea qué onda con este país?

Hoy me fui al INEGI a checar Cuéntame México, donde viene una estadística interesante suponiendo que en México solamente existieran 100 habitantes, es importante porque te das cuenta fácilmente cómo estamos con estos números...

Aquí puedes consultar la fuente original, pero vivimos 119.5 millones de personas en México, por número de habitantes, México ocupa el número 11 a nivel mundial. Cada minuto nace un nuevo mexicano y muero otro. 

Si en México vivieran solamente cien personas, 27 serían niños de 0 a 14 años, 26 jóvenes de 15 a 29 años, 36 adultos entre los 30 y 59 años, 11 adultos mayores. Es decir, la mayoría está en edad adulta y por lo tanto en edad productiva, situación que desearían muchos países, puesto que en algunos, la mayoría de su población ya son adultos mayores y requieren más personas jóvenes y en edad madura...

89 personas vivirían en familia, 11 personas vivirían solas, y 29 hogares serían sostenidos por mujeres. Cuando dimensionas que estas 11 personas que viven solas son millones, el número es altísimo... igualmente el 29 de las mujeres que sostienen un hogar.

Bueno y estas estadísticas qué onda conmigo?? Dirías tal vez, pero tienen mucho, muchísimo qué ver, cómo vas a tomar una elección si no conoces a tu México??? 

Serían 51 mujeres y 49 hombres, 89 hablarían español, 5 hablarían lengua indígena y español y 1 no hablaría español pero sí una lengua indígena, ... nuevamente, 1... traducido a millones es altísimo! ...cómo les llega la información a estas personas cuando van a votar??... votan? está en su lengua? o sólo por el rostro?... por eso elegimos lo que tenemos acaso??

Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, ¿para cerrar o resurgir?

Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo... To close or resurface?

As of today there is no payment for the workers and professors of the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. The University is celebrating this year in its centenary.

There are so many versions that really one as a student, as an ex-worker there is really unknown what are the real causes of this situation.

Some say they want the rector to resign, and there are versions that even say the opposite, that some will want to proclaim themselves as saviors of the university.

One thing is certain, the university has not been saved from corruption, the unions have unethical practices, as well as, there is an economically unsustainable pension system, coupled with this, the recent criticisms that have made the rector of the university, where also, they mention him in high corruption.

Apparently the only thing that would save the university is a massive cleaning.

Speaking about human capital, this is the subject of economic development for most of the countries, our state, Michoacán is one of the last places in the country in educational level, so the issue of developing our human capital should be a subject fundamental for the policies of this federative entity.

Of course, where is this human capital better developed than in the universities, but despite knowing this there is something we do not know, which are the most profitable careers to the state? Which of them are not? and even more, which of the careers are profitable to the university itself? Which ones are not?

If we know the careers of the future, according to the Labor Observatory, we do not know which careers are appropriate for the state to invest? And which of them will definitely abolish? Without these real studies on the performance of human capital we are blind, just fighting a hollow political question, totally without meaning or reason.
